Metrics and Repliq Score

Understanding the Repliq Score and the AI visibility KPIs measured by Repliq.

The Repliq Score

The Repliq Score is your main indicator. It is a composite score from 0 to 100 that summarizes your overall AI visibility by combining 4 metrics:

ComponentWeightFormula
AI Visibility40%responses mentioning your brand / total responses x 100
Citation Share25%responses citing your domain / total responses x 100
Share of Voice25%mentions of your brand / total mentions (you + competitors) x 100
Sentiment10%((% positive - % negative) + 100) / 2

Interpreting your score

ScoreLevelMeaning
80-100ExcellentYou are a leader in AI responses for your sector
50-79GoodStrong presence, with identified areas for improvement
0-49LowAIs rarely mention you -- concrete actions are needed

The Repliq Score appears at the top of your Overview page with a tooltip detailing the contribution of each component.

AI Visibility

AI Visibility is the percentage of responses in which your brand is mentioned, across all platforms.

  • Example: If 15 out of 50 responses mention your brand, your visibility is 30%
  • Benchmark: A visibility of 20-30% is a good starting point. Sector leaders reach 50% and above.

Visibility varies by platform -- Perplexity often cites more brands than Claude, for example. Use the platform filter to compare.

Average Position

Position indicates at which rank your brand appears in responses when it is mentioned.

  • Position 1: Your brand is the first one cited -- the best possible result
  • Position 3: Your brand is cited in 3rd place
  • No position: Your brand is not mentioned

How position is calculated

Repliq analyzes the structure of each response (numbered lists, tables, bold text) to precisely determine the rank of each brand mentioned. If the structure does not allow a reliable calculation, no position is assigned -- Repliq never fabricates data.

The position is calculated among all brands mentioned in the response, not only the ones you track.

Citation Share

Citation Share measures how often your domain (website) is cited as a source in responses.

Each platform cites its sources differently:

PlatformAverage citation rateMethod
Perplexity~80%Native citations integrated in the API
Gemini~15-20%URLs extracted from the response text
ChatGPT~10-30%URLs extracted from the response text
Grok~5-15%URLs extracted from the response text
Claude~5-15%URLs extracted from the text (rarely cites)

Share of Voice

Share of Voice compares your visibility to that of your competitors:

  • Formula: your mentions / (your mentions + competitor mentions) x 100
  • Purpose: Identify the topics where you are the leader and those where your competitors outperform you

Sentiment

Sentiment indicates how AIs talk about your brand:

  • Positive -- recommendation, advantages highlighted, praising tone
  • Neutral -- factual mention without value judgment
  • Negative -- criticism, disadvantages, unfavorable comparison

The overall sentiment score is calculated as: % positive - % negative. A score of +50 means that 50% more of your mentions are positive than negative.

Win Rate

Win rate is a metric from the Competition page. For each response, Repliq compares your position to that of each competitor:

  • Win: You are better positioned than the competitor
  • Tie: Same position
  • Loss: The competitor is better positioned

The overall win rate indicates in what percentage of cases you "beat" your competitors.
